Jabong Looks for LFW

Hello all my beautiful readers!! I am sorry for being MIA (Missing In Action) for so long.. The past month has been quite a roller coaster ride for me in terms of my personal life. Too many things happening at the same time, lost a very dear person in the family, work!
To top it off, the weather is so weird these days..sometimes it's cold, sometimes it's hot..all this just made me feel like putting a blanket on my head and going back to sleep!

Anyways, enough of my sob story..! The main thing is that I am back and how!

One of my favorite online shopping websites, Jabong.com, is co-sponsoring Lakme Fashion Week this year and is giving all the creative minds out there a chance to showcase their talent at the show!
All we have to do is create looks with all the gorgeous stuff available on the website and Jabong will select the winners based on creativity and style! Moreover, those looks will be recreated at the Jabong studio and showcased at the show!! So cool!

I was super pumped up when I got to know about the contest and could not wait to start creating looks!

Every participant is allowed to submit upto 3 entries and I will be sharing mine in 3 separate posts.

So today I will show you the first look I created. This look is casual and chic, perfect for a day out with friends or for shopping. With the coming summer, this look will ensure that you remain cool and look stylish at the same time!

Pastels and maxis are going to be a hit this spring/summer and what better than to combine the two in this adorable maxi dress!
The cotton material will keep you cool and the sexy back cut will add to oomph factor! You can throw on a denim jacket if you wish to add layers to your look or give it that edge.

Pair this look with a tan sling bag, tan sandals with a bit of gold bling effect, big chunky watch and a statement neckpiece like this chain necklace and you are ready for the perfect day out, looking oh-so-stylish!

This look is so complete in itself that it does not even need much makeup to balance it. Just line your eyes with a black eyeliner, a bright coral lippie, some coral blush and tie your hair in a top knot or a side plait.

I personally love this look and wear such outfits a lot myself!

What do you all think? Would you wear something like this? I would love to hear from you!
